Scholarship Recipients at the 12th Annual KAC-DFW Banquet

Last Saturday evening, August 26, 2017, many Korean Americans and VIP guests, including Honorary Sang Soo Lee of the Consular Office of Republic of Korea in Dallas and Mark L. Keam of Virginia House of Delegate, attended the 12th Annual Korean American Coalition DFW Banquet. This year banquet celebrates and empowered the young generation to volunteers, civic engagement and get involved in community services.
The Korean American Coalition DFW (KAC-DFW) Banquet was also an opportunity for the organization to vote in the new board members and to award scholarships to a few outstanding student recipients, including Amber Park, Taesung Kim, Joseph Kim, Hwa Jin Chung and Nicolas Chae.
KAC-DFW current President, John Jun, provided the mission of the organization to educate, organize and empower the community to exercise their rights by becoming an engaged civic, legislative and community affairs.
