A mob of protesters intimidate an Asian journalist/media from his job in a public location.

Students form a perimeter around the #ConcernedStudent1950 tent village at the University of Missouri and ask media to leave.

The student, Tim Tai, a freelancer for ESPN were intimidated by university faculties and physically prevented from doing his job.

The university supposed to be one of the oldest and most respected journalism programs in the country.

David Kurpius, the dean of the school of journalism, stressed, “The news media have First Amendment rights to cover public events.”

Is the journalist’s First Amendment rights being violated?
