International Children Author Tatsuya Miyanishi Visit To The U.S.

Tatsuya Miyanishi, acclaimed Japanese author and illustrator visited North Texas, including Carrollton, Plano, and Dallas, as part of his US tour and books signing for the first time. Author Miyanishi’s tour include New York City, San Francisco, New Jersey, Seattle, San Jose, Dallas, and Plano.

Miyanishi is the creator of the Tyrannosaurus children’s books, a bestselling series of 13 titles with international sales in excess of 2 million copies. Since 2015, four of the books have been published in the US and have been enthusiastically received by both critics and families.

Author Tatsuya Miyanishi says, “The theme of the Tyrannosaurus series is love. The love I write about is something very natural. It’s all about showing that love is far more important that power. I hope you agree!”

Tatsuya Miyanishi had a special appearance at Kinokuniya Book Store in Carrollton, TX on October 24 for his books signing and a live presentation of his story to many excited children, parents and teachers. The story telling included a professional voice reading and act out scenes with all his adoring fans. Miyanishi spent most of his afternoon entertaining, reading from his books, and discuss his work in the Japanese-language, follow by a translator in English.

About Tatsuya Miyanishi

Born in 1956, Tatsuya Miyanishi graduated from the Nihon University College of Art and was a doll artist and graphic designer before becoming a picture-book author. Miyanishi’s books have a passionate fan base of all ages that enjoys his range of endearing characters in many genres, from superheroes to dinosaurs, all illustrated with bright colors. He has won the Kodansha Cultural Award for Picture Books, as well as the Kenbuchi Picture Book Grand Prize.
