DFW Vietnamese-American Community Gathered For Democracy

The Dallas/Fort Worth Vietnamese-American community, hosted by Mr. Minh Phan, gathered on a Saturday evening, at Quoc Huong restaurant, to raised fund for Democracy in Vietnam. Many distinguished business-owners and leaders of the community came out to show support. One special guest in particular, Council Member Tam Nguyen of San Jose, California, travel from the West coast to join the occasion. Mr. Tam Nguyen has been San Jose Councilman for about two (2) years and looking forward in working together with the community. “There are many opportunities for Vietnamese-American to be pro-active in city government here in North Texas,” said Councilman Tam Nguyen. Tam also mention, “San Jose, California has the country largest Vietnamese community. There are Vietnamese-American in San Jose’s government office positions. Dallas has a significant population of Vietnamese-American population and I am looking forward in seeing Vietnamese-American in Dallas government to represent our community.”
