DFW Asian Community and Asia

DALLAS, TX – “Connecting the World – DFW and Asia,” is the theme of this year’s Awards Gala presented by the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce. The awards ceremony was helded on Friday, October 19th, at the Hyatt Regency North Dallas. The 2012 award banquet recognized individuals and companies in the categories of Entrepreneur of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, International Business and Science and Medicine.
Phil Ritter, Executive Vice President of the DFW International Airport, delivered the keynote speech about the expansion of the DFW International Airport throughout Asia and the global world.
This year grand winners are Al Bhakta of the Chalak Group/ Genghis Grill for Entrepreneur of the Year, Daniel Healy of Civitas Capital Group for International Business, Naresh Gupta M.D. for Science and Medicine, Steven Bailey for Urban Acres for Small Business, and Ann Vo of Cindi’s N.Y. Delicatessen for Woman Own Business.
