Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program Hosts 8 Free Legal Clinics

DALLAS, TEXAS—In the month of December, the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), a joint initiative of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, will hold eight free Legal Clinics for Dallas County residents who meet certain financial guidelines. All clinics begin at 6:00 p.m.
Schedules and locations are as follows:
East Dallas (Grace United Methodist Church—4105 Junius at Haskell)
· Thursdays, December 6; and December 20
South Dallas (Martin Luther King, Jr. Center—2922 MLK Blvd.)
· Tuesdays, December 4; and December 11
West Dallas (Marillac Social Services Center—2843 Lapsley Street)
· Thursdays, December 13; and December 20
St. Phillip’s Community Center (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue)
· Tuesday, December 18
Garland (Salvation Army—451 W. Avenue D, Garland, TX 75040)
· Thursday, December 20
The clinics offer free legal advice and consultation in civil matters for those who qualify under Legal Aid’s income eligibility guidelines.
