DALLAS, TX (AsiaWorldMedia.com) – On Saturday night, March 22, 2014, Hanh-Lucy Dang and her team put on the ‘Glimmer in the Dark’ fashion show benefiting the Suicide & Crisis Center of North Texas, an organization helping those in crisis, especially suicidal crisis, find hope for the future. The fashion show featured Lucy Dang’s 2014 Autumn/Winter Collection and the jewelry accessories were provided by Nine-Eighteen. Lucy Dang’s Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection bringing together formal femininity with sexy-sophistication and elegant design.

Recognized as the 2013 winner of both Texas Next Top Designer and Belk’s Southern Designer Showcase, Lucy Dang grew up in Dallas and a graduated from the University of North Texas majoring in Fashion Design. After graduation, Lucy moved to New York, where she was inspired by many major designers to launched her own line of fashion, the Lucy Dang Collection.

Inspired by the dark side of beauty, haunted things – antlers and crowns – and Salem, Massachusetts, the ‘Glimmer in the Dark’ fashion show was held at the WAAS Gallery in Dallas and included a cocktail reception, light snacks and a sweet delight of cup cakes. In addition to the fashion show, modern art pieces and Lucy Dang’s dresses were displayed along the gallery wall. The show packed Dallas fashion enthusiasts into the open tent, anxiously awaiting for the models strutting down the runway.

After the show, Lucy Dang and four runway models, wearing her designs – formal teal, red, emerald green long dresses, and a beautiful black, ball gown with silver accents – came out to greet her guests.
