2019 Annual Lunar New Year Celebration

This 2019, Asia World Media joined thousands of attendees for the 2019 Annual Lunar New Year Celebration by the Talon Culture Foundation, an event featuring multiple singers, dancers and artist presentations along with music and culture performances – Eisemann Center in Richardson — on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
“With all the sponsors and volunteers support, we had a huge success! Over 200 performers and dozens of workers, it was recognized by the Dallas Morning News and many local newspapers, calling it the best Chinese New Year celebration show in the DFW area,” said Founder of the Talon Culture Foundation Teresa Tong.

The 2nd Annual Lunar New Year Celebration is hosted by the Talon Culture Foundation, with the following board members – Bruce R. Nordstrom, Tianle Tong, Julia Zhang, Daniel C. Eng, An Lee Hsu, Cindy Zhang and Kylie cao –together with the support of many individuals, volunteers, local businesses and organizations in the surrounding Metroplex. Many public officials, including U.S. Senator Van Taylor, Texas State Senator Angela Paxton, Texas State Representative Matt Shaheen and Plano Councilman Rick Grady — attended the event.
The entertainment roster for 2019 included demonstrations of traditional Chinese painting with Both Hands, Chinese orchestra performance, modern violinist Yut-Kung Chia (Yut and The Hot Four), River Dance by the Lisha Dance Studio and many more.
