2017 AACA TX Awards Luncheon

The Asian American Contractors Association of Texas (AACA TX) held its annual Awards Luncheon on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 26th 2017, at the popular Kasra Restaurant in Richardson.

AACA TX’s missions are to promote partnership and to expand business opportunities, through capacity building among the communities.

Many awards were given out with special titles, like The Constellation Awards Program which recognizes outstanding contributions by individuals, Public Entity or Corporation for MWBEs.  Some of the recipients of these awards go to DFW Airport, City of Dallas, TXDOT, US Mexico Chamber, Clifton Miller, SMR Construction.

Gal Jumao-as with the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC) won a Lifetime Achievement Award, and Kathy Dress won the most valuable Member Award. These were named under the The Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Juno, Neptune, Star and Mercury Awards.

The Gemini Awards were formed to highlight teaming partnerships of General Contractors and AACATX Members.  The PDI Group nominated Big Sky Construction and Gadgetry Construction for this award.
