The pageant was a sold out event on Saturday evening, August 5, 2017, at Swayz Ballroom in Dallas, TX.
Many VIPs, leaders and representatives from different Asian communities attended and praised the quality production, representing the diverse cultures of Asia.
The Miss and Miss Teen Asian American Texas Pageant is produced entirely by volunteers, an incredible group of talented, skilled, educated and dedicated professionals and community leaders, who have invested countless hours to ensure a memorable Pageant. The Miss and Miss Teen Asian American Texas Pageant is hosted by the Asian American Broadcasting, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and mainly sponsored by Asia World Media, a bridge to connect businesses to the Asian American Market and Consumers through print publication, online, social media, video broadcasting and production. The Miss and Miss Teen Asian American Texas Pageant 2017-2019 newly title holders are Vanyda Boulom, representing the country of Laos, for the Miss Teen Asian American Texas and Averie Bishop, representing the country of the Philippine, for the Miss Asian American Texas. We congratulate these two ladies and all the candidates for their incredible accomplishments.
